- All of our Niagara Falls Day Tour begins with a complimentary pick-up from the hotel you are staying at in Toronto. We will then embark on a scenic tour through the Golden Horseshoe region of the Niagara Peninsulabefore arriving at the Falls. During your journey, we will enlighten you with exciting facts anddelightful history aboutthisarea and regionofthe Falls.
- Once we arriveat the Falls, you will have your choice of activities;
(depending on the package you select)
- You may decide tostart your attractions (if purchased by Hope Canada tours)
- Perhaps you would prefer to do some shopping instead of attractions
- Followed by a buffet stylelunch at the Spectacular Sheraton on the falls with an outstanding panoramic view over-looking the falls
- Followed by some leisure time for some shopping (if you haven’t already)
- Then during the last part of our tour, will do some Wine tasting at a variety of Ontario’s finest Wineries
- We can also customize your packages to suit your schedule if you have a preferred itinerary. So you have a proper tour of Niagara Falls and surrounding areas and all its beauty.
- Once your visit at the Falls and the Wine tasting part of the Tour is complete we will enlighten you one more time along the scenic Niagara Parkway where you will have the opportunity to takephotos or video and be educated aboutthe unique historical facts about Laura Secord’s homestead, the War of 1812, and see Sir Adam Beck’s power station, the Floral Clock, the fascinating Whirlpool Rapids, Mackenzie House, Queenston Heights,and the historic Fort George.
- The NiagaraParkway takes us to, Niagara-on-the-Lake, a beautiful, sleekand historiclittle town with a varietyof age appropriate attractions suitable for the entire family(there may be a few with restrictions). You will enjoy taking a stroll through the streets to visit the unique culinary delightsand fashion district or perhaps even take a horse drawn carriage through the town.
As we conclude the tour you will get tohave the opportunity to wet your pallet and enjoy a variety ofsome of Ontario’s most prestigious winesat a variety of some of Ontario’s most popular wineries in Niagara on the lake.
Departing from Toronto
We will depart from Toronto(depending on the size of the group there may be multiple stops at different hotels)at approx. 830-9:00am. During your Journeyyour tour guide will enlighten you with exciting facts about Historical Canada. Along the way you will notice the beautiful scenery and even get a glimpseof of Lake Ontario the Niagara Escarpment and the Welland Canal.
Arrival in Niagara Falls
We will arrive in Niagara Fallsat approx. 1030am, where you will be amazed by the history that surrounds you. Your tour guide will escort you to an up close and personal view at the mesmerizing and unique Niagara Falls.
There will be several different spots to take memorable photos.
With time permitting there will leisure time so you can make your own memories.
You will have the opportunity to get evencloser to the fallsand experience“a Journey Behind the Falls” and what it is like to be on the other side of the falls.
Time permitting and to make the day even more exciting you may have the opportunity to board “TheHornblower” Niagara Cruise.Where you will see what it is like at the bottom of the falls!
You will also get to see the American side of the Falls where you will see “The maid of the mist” American Niagara cruise.
12:00pm Lunch
We will make our way over to “The Sheraton on the falls” buffet lunch where you will have a full panoramic view of the falls while dining. Great photo opportunity! There is also a small outdoor balcony ideal for photos.
Niagara Parkway
After lunch we will take a mini tour of theNiagara Parkwaywhichis one of the most scenicroutes leading from Niagara Falls to Niagara-on-the-Lake. We willstop at the fascinatingWhirlpool Rapidsand then visit landmark sites like Sir Adam Beck Power Generating Stations, the Floral Clock, Mackenzie Printingand Newspaper Museum, Queenston Heights followed by the historic Fort George.
Niagara-On-The-Lake
When we finally arrive in Niagara on the lake you will get to explore the rich heritagewhere this once was the first capital of upper Canada.Enjoy a peek at the sleek shops or take a strollalong to the waters edge to see the Niagara river, which acts as a border between Canada and the USA which leadsinto Lake Ontario.
Winery Visit
No Tour is complete until you have had the opportunity to taste some of Ontario’s finest wines. We will visit 3 local wineries in Niagara on the lake. This includes a Red, White and Ice Wine Tasting.This will concludethe tour before heading back to Toronto.
Heading back to Toronto
Provided the days events go as planned, timing may vary.We will do our best to follow the schedule however sometimes there are events (traffic and wait times) that occur that are out of our control.Approximate time intended to returnto Toronto is roughly 6:00pm.
