Our Niagara Falls Day Tour begins with a complimentary pick-up from your hotel in Toronto. Travel through the Golden Horseshoe region to the Niagara Peninsula and arrive at the Falls. Along your journey, we will enlighten you with amazing facts and rich history on the surrounding region and the Falls.
Upon arrival at the Falls, you will either start your boat, helicopter or other tour (add-ons available at time of booking) or spend some time exploring the Falls. Join us for an amazing buffet lunch (add-on) with gorgeous, panoramic views overlooking the Falls.
After your visit at the Falls, we continue along the scenic Niagara Parkway where you will have the opportunity to take pictures and learn about the rich history of the War of 1812, Whirlpool Rapids, Laura Secord’s homestead, Sir Adam Beck power station, the Floral Clock, Queenston Heights, Mackenzie House and the historic Fort George.
The Parkway leads us to, Niagara-on-the-Lake, a beautiful, quaint and historic town with a wealth of attractions for everyone. Stroll through the streets and visit the unique culinary and fashion boutiques or take a horse drawn carriage through the town.
Conclude the tour with an exclusive presentation and sampling of some of Ontario’s most prestigious wines.
Departing From Toronto
Depart Toronto at 9:00am with hotel pick ups prior and head towards Niagara Falls. Along the way your tour guide will keep you entertained with facts and history of Canada. There will be beautiful scenery and glimpse of Lake Ontario, the Niagara Escarpment and the Welland Canal.
10:30am Arrive in Niagara Falls
Upon arrival in Niagara Falls, be amazed at the first glimpse of the falls. Your tour guide will escort you to a scenic vantage where you can get an unparalleled look at the 3 thundering shoots. Enjoy time for self exploration to get up close and experience the magnificence of the thunder of the waters. *The most popular attraction is the Hornblower Niagara Cruise.Add on**
1:30pm Drive along the famed Niagara Parkway
The Niagara Parkway is one of the most spectacular drives leading from Niagara Falls to Niagara-on-the-Lake. Just ask Sir Winston Churchill, he names the Niagara Parkway one of the prettiest Sunday Drives. Stop at the Whirlpool Rapids, See landmark sites like the Floral Clock, Sir Adam Beck Power Generating Stations, Queenston Heights the Mackenzie Printery and Newspaper Museum, Fort George National Historic Site.
2:15pm-3:15pm Niagara-On-The-Lake
Arrive in once one was the first capital of upper Canada. Explore the rich heritage, browse the quaint shops, or walk along to the waters edge to see the Niagara river, which acts as a boarder between Canada and the USA leading out into Lake Ontario.
No Tour to the Niagara Region would be complete without a wine sampling. Finish the day off with a presentation and sampling of some of Ontario’s award winning wines. This includes a Red, White and Ice Wine Tasting.
4:00 pm Depart for return to Toronto.
Itinerary timings are approximate and is subject to change due to elements beyond out control. Return time back to Toronto is approximately 6:00pm. When the Hornblower Niagara Cruise is not in operation*, it will be substituted with the Journey Behind the Falls.
